The study of complex systems and their modeling has been an alive opportunity to apply mathematics to real life sciences such as physics, biology, sociology, economics, etc.
In recent years, new tecniques have been developed to capture specific properties of these system. In particular, fractional calculus has recently aroused the interest of the mathematical community to describe several phenomena such as anomalous diffusion process, trapping, memory effects, etc.
The present Meeting wants to be an opportunity to present recent results and researches by different perspectives and also to stimulate new projects and collaborations.
In the afternoon of Friday December 15th a Meeting on Fractional Derivatives will be host at S.B.A.I. Department (La Sapienza University, Rome) at 14:00 in 1B1 Room (Building RM0002)
Local Organizer:
- Fabio Camilli (University of Rome, La Sapienza)
- Raul De Maio (University of Rome, La Sapienza)
- Mirko D’Ovidio (University of Rome, La Sapienza)
Researchers and students, that want to partecipate or propose a talk, should contact by e-mail Fabio Camilli ( camilli@sbai.uniroma1.it ) or Raul De Maio (raul.demaio@sbai.uniroma1.it)
